  • What are email and text alerts?
    Alerts are account notifications that you can customize based on your credit usage and purchase behavior, choosing to receive emails, texts or both. You can receive alerts for activity on your primary card, and any authorized buyer purchase behavior. Enabled alerts will be delivered to the primary cardmember's mobile device or email address on file.
  • How do I set up or modify existing alerts for my Marathon Credit Card account?
    Visit the Alerts tab to select the types of alerts you'd like to receive. You can modify your alert preferences anytime.
  • Is there any cost or fee for text alerts?
    Comenity Bank will not charge you for text alerts, however, standard message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Please contact your mobile carrier with questions about your data plan and fees.
  • Which mobile carriers support Marathon Visa® Credit Card text alerts?
    Access our

    for more information on mobile carriers that support text alerts for your Marathon Credit Card account. If your carrier isn't listed, we're unable to text you a unique ID code. Please call Customer Care at 1-866-308-0680 (TDD/TTY: 1-800-695-1788).
  • How do I ensure that I'll receive text and email alerts?
    By confirming your email address and mobile number, you can be sure you'll receive alerts. We'll also send you a confirmation link via email and text you a code, if you've opted in to receiving text alerts. Be sure to check your email and text messages (if applicable) to complete the confirmation.
  • Why did I not receive my Marathon Visa® Credit Card alert when I expected to?
    You'll receive an alert only when a transaction meets the criteria you selected. Please make sure your contact information, including your email address and mobile number are correct. If there's a problem and we can't send you alerts, we'll notify you on Account Center.
